Period & Style :  19th century, Qing dynasty 

Material :  Pewter ( tin alloy ) and made of Yixing clay inside

Size & Weight :  to lid knob H . 3.35 in. ( 8.5 cm ), spout to handle W. 5.03 in. ( 12.8 cm )

Condition :   A tiny chip on the Yixing clay lid edge; agate inlaid in spout, lid knob and handle.


A molded seal on the bottom four Chinese letters signed as "Young Pong Nian Zhi"

A similar material teapot made by the same potter was auctioned in mainland China 2007/12/02, the hammer price was RMB 179,200.00(= US$26,190.00).
