This is a very special Tibetan old Thanka, huge, silk embroidery. Usually, a huge Thanka like this size was been hanging on an important Buddhism temple in Tibet. The listing piece was from an old Tibetan Lama in Beijing, China, lots years ago. A almost similar size of Tsong Khapa embroidery Thanka ( later 18th century piece ) is collected by Mr. William Hitchcock, and was exhibited in the National Palace Museum, Taipei, 1998. |
